If you have questions about BookWorks; our schedule of workshops; exhibition space; studio space for rent; or if you’d just like to stop by for a visit, we’ll be on-hand and at your service.

Bookworks Studio Store: The Bookworks Studio Store carries a variety of print and binding papers as well as supplies for the book and print artist. The store also sells books, sketchbooks and other pieces made by local artists as well as tee shirts, tote bags and aprons. Open during normal Bookworks hours.

Location: Asheville BookWorks is located at 428 1/2 Haywood Road, one block East of Exit 2 off I-240/I-26 in West Asheville. We are minutes from I-40, 19/23 and downtown Asheville.

Driving: Exit 2 off I-240/I-26 in West Asheville. Head East on Haywood Road, you’ll pass B&B Pharmacy and Second Gear on your right. Our building is the next one on the right, just past a parking lot (not our parking). Our front entrance is halfway back along the 428 building wall, away from Haywood Road. To reach our secondary entrance, continue around end of building to your left and down a short alley.

Parking: Hourly Free Parking is available along Haywood Road in marked spaces. Daily Free Parking is available in our own lot. To reach the BookWorks day lot, continue East along Haywood Road; Right onto Richmond Ave, then right into the gravel parking lot. There is a walkway and stairs at the far end of the lot that lead to the BookWorks entrance.
