Kreh Mellick attended Maine College of Art where she received a BFA in Illustration and Drawing. Her drawings relate dark and mischievous tales from her imagination and have been a way to share an inner dialogue that is not easily communicated in words. Kreh completed a two‐year fellowship at Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, where she was able to broaden her technical vocabulary and experiment with a wide array of media including bookmaking, letterpress and printmaking. After her time at Penland, Kreh relocated to Asheville, NC where she has been keeping studio and following residency opportunities and exhibitions both regionally and abroad.
