How can paper become an integral part of your book? Moving beyond paper as a simple substrate for text and image, this workshop will explore how to use paper as a fundamental component of your book’s content and narrative. We will experiment with pulp painting techniques and inclusions in handmade paper, as well as different techniques to add texture and color to dry paper, both commercial and handmade.
Please bring: a variety of printmaking and art papers, pigments such as watercolors, gouche and paint, colored pencils and inks.
