This class is for creative people who have always wanted to render elements of the natural world. Honing our skills of observation we will turn to the natural world for inspiration. Using flowers, ferns, leaves etc…from Heather’s garden this class will give you the basic drawing skills and confidence to capture the elegance and mystery of them.  Over the course of 6 evening sessions we will explore drawing media, the different purposes they serve, as well as various approaches to using them. We will draw on loose paper that will be bound into a book at the conclusion of the class. Possible field trip.

Supply list

• H pencil, 2B pencil (regular yellow pencil) and 4B and white eraser,
• favorite black pen for writing and sketching,
• a clipboard or other small hard surface to use as a mini drawing board and a bulldog or other type of clip if you have them…
• your pencil case with what ever you use to journal.
