Cartonnage Workshop
Steve Pittelkow, visiting instructor from St. Paul held a ‘Cartonnage’ class this week. Cartonnage is a French term that covers, book binding, boxmaking and objets d’art. It is also the art of making elegant and functional household objects from bookboard and incredibly beautiful decorative paper. Here are examples of some very accomplished student work.
