The Pocket Diary is modeled after mid-19th century books and the Pocket Photo Album is a copy of those from the 1870’s. The simplicity of a case binding combined with complex details such as a tongue and strap closure, gusseted and plain pockets, and 100% rag hand- ruled paper result in an elegant, useful and unusual book. The Photo Album with tongue and strap closure, has room for 12 small photographs. This class is the culmination of years of research and studio hours spent building models and perfecting the book structure from actual historical examples.
