Celia Gray
Celia Gray is a studio artist and teacher living in Asheville, NC. She is currently working with encaustic painting. She exhibits regionally, most recently at Blue Spiral 1 (Asheville, NC) and Bull City Arts Collaborative (Durham, NC). Her work can be found locally at The Penland Gallery and Blue Spiral 1. Originally from Carrboro, NC, Celia came to western NC in 2001 to be a Core Fellow at the Penland School of Crafts. In 2003 she set up studio in Asheville in 2003. She has taught at many art centers including Bookworks, Asheville Art Museum, and Penland School of Crafts.
